Set-ups

$45 for half set-up - $80 for full set-up

Not all set-ups are made equal for each stringed instrument. Each instrument has its own needs and each instrument owner has their own needs. I will customize this experience for each customer. To keep it simple, I am offering a half set-up and a full set-up. Half set-up is good for new instruments (tighten hardware, action adjustment, pickup height adjustment, lubrication, truss rod adjustment), whereas the full set-up has all the previously mentioned services, but adds re-string, fretboard cleaning, fret polishing, and cleaning electronics: this is best for well-used and older instruments.

Complete Re-fret

$275-450

This price depends on the type of fretboard wood (rosewood, ebony, maple, pau ferro, etc) and whether the neck has finishing or binding. Different woods require varying labor intensities. Maple often has lacquer that can chip away and needs to be touched up after replacing frets. Binding on guitar necks is delicate and often needs patched where material removal may not have been avoidable. Steel frets are also more labor intensive due to its density and extra working time.

Fret leveling can improve your instrument’s playability and overall sound. Eliminates gritty and uneven frets and fret buzz and brings new life to your instrument

Complete Re-wire

$125-275

Standard wiring for a loaded Stratocaster pickguard (any pickup combination) or standard Les Paul style/back routed 2-4 knob wiring is $125. Boutique wiring (eg: coil splitting, treble bleed, etc. maxes at $275). Pre-wired harness installations: $100. Custom wiring can be extensive beyond boutique level, so an appointment will be necessary in order to get a quote.
